Phosphènes #02 – Iris

This project, which is under study, is concerned with the research of a furtive colour, the Cherenkov blue.

Blue phosphenes, which are stains in the periphery of vision some astronauts complained about during the Apollo 11 mission, are believed to come from solar radiations. As they penetrate the aqueous surface of the ocular globe, these radiations conflict with the speed of light, which is reduced in these conditions, and provoke a shock also known as the Cherenkov blue.
